Lightweight Kevlar Gloves
Although these are not originally sold as temperature resistant, a great lamp worker, Eli Aller, swears they are his favorite studio glove and we have to agree. They are thin enough that you can pick up small objects and are designed to be cut and abrasion resistant. They are perfect for torch work, opening hot kilns, sorting through glass scraps or working in front of a glory hole or fire bucket. You can use these gloves alone or as protective liners for the heavy duty Kevlar glove. They are not recommended for picking up molten glass.
