The Lunstom Legacy
Boyce Lunstrum is regarded by many as the father of the contemporary fused glass movement. In 1974 he founded Bulleye Glass with partners Dan Schwoerer and Ray Ahlgren. It was his vision to start a new art form by creating sheets of compatible glass that could be fused together without breaking. He spear headed the development of Bullseye’s line of Fusing Compatible sheet glass. Lunstrum’s 1983 book “Kiln Firing Glass, Glass Fusing Book One” is referred to by many fusers as the “bible.”

In 1985 Boyce sold his interest in Bullseye and founded a glass school called Camp Colton. Here he continued writing and publishing books of kiln forming techniques while developing specialized products for glass fusers. Boyce passed away from brain cancer in 2012. Since then his estate has promoted his books and products. They have enlisted Fusion Headquarters to carry on Boyce’s torch. We are proud to offer a limited amount these Lunstrom Legacy items for sale.
