Stainless Steel Slumping and Bending Molds

Fuse Master Custom Metal Molds offer unmatched performance when slumping or bending glass in a kiln. Stainless steel is the mold material preferred by most commercial glass benders because of how quickly it heats and cools allowing for shorter firing times than denser ceramic or cast refractory molds. Stainless steel molds are extremely durable and will last for many many firings.

Fuse Master has developed several lines of molds. Our “Hand Spun” series is a collection of some of the most desirable shapes in the industry. Made of 18 gauge, 300 series stainless steel, these molds are hand spun to our unique master forms. Painstakingly designed by Gil Reynolds, these versatile molds can be bent into our over to produce many pleasing shapes.
