Stainless Steel Draping Mold
If your kiln is too shallow to accommodate the Floral Former slumping mold, you are in luck. At only 4 1/2″ tall the Short Former is smaller version of the popular Floral Former designed just for smaller kilns. Ideal for draping “handkerchief” type fluted forms. Flat bottom imitators produce finished vessels that have a round bottom and so they don’t sit flat. Ours features a raised lip with an indented center so that the finished glass will sit solid without rocking. Pre-Fired so that it is easy to apply Shelf Primer or ZYP Spray Release. Measures 4 11/16″ tall with a 2 3/8″ bottom.
