Hint from Carmen – I can use whatever I want for my shelves and my shelf preparation of choice is a combination of Primo Primer and Fuse Master Kiln Wash. Mix dry 4 parts Fuse Master with 1 part Primo. When you are ready to prep your shelves combine 1 part of the dry mix with 4 parts water. Apply 4 – 6 coats to your shelf. I think the result is better than anything out there including the expensive thin shelf papers.
